Yes, it's very quick AND easy to make this card. Of course you can use pattern paper instead of embossed paper or you can use regular card stock, but I love the look of embossed paper. It gives cards "pizazz!"
There is no right or wrong way to cut this diagonally, just make sure both pieces cover the front of the card.
You can add felt flowers or punched out paper flowers if you don't have Primas. Use brads if you don't have Dew Drops. Use lace or border punched lace in place of the pom-poms. By the way, I love these new pom-poms. They're just so much fun to add to projects. I use sticky tape to adhere them to my projects. To attach the flowers and Dew Drops, I use those ever so useful mini glue dots. The last step is to stamp your sentiment, punch it out and adhere it to the bottom corner with dimensionals or glue.
Now wasn't that easy? Well, thanks for stopping by and let me know if that seems like an easy project to you.

Simply elegant card, Adela! I love this and I agree, embossed paper(s) really add some "pizazz" to a project. Like your flowers and the little pompoms too! All your creations are just wonderful!

Adela, what is your source for the mini pom poms? They are next to impossible to find in my area (MA). Thanks.
Donna, the pom poms that I used are made by Maya Road and I purchased them online from Emma's Paperie at .75/yd. Here's their link:
