My first post of 2009... I'd like to wish everyone a happy 2009. I usually don't make resolutions for the new year, but this year I encourage everyone to at least make this one simple effort: Make each day the best day possible for yourself and for others.
I wanted to let you know that I may not be posting here for a few days. Three years ago, on New Years Day, my dear mother passed away and since then, January 1st has been a sad day for me and my family. Yesterday, January 1st, I received devastating news that my 18 year old nephew died suddenly. I will be spending some time with my sister and family until the funeral or maybe until I know it's okay to leave her.
