Pretties Magnet

The project I made today are simple fridge magnets to show off some of your favorite pics.
I found a large bag of flat glass "stones" for only $1.99 at Target (yes, I've been diagnosed with chronic targetitis). They're 1" to 1-1/4" round vase fillers... great to have around.

Supplies:
Pretties Kit
Scallop and 1" Circle Punches
Crystal Effects
Mini Glue Dots and Pop Up Dots
Card Stock of Choice
1" Photo
Strong Magnet
Packing Tape
Glass Stone

With packing tape, adhere a strip over one side of card stock, just enough to be able to punch out two scallops. Place several mini glue dots around edge of each scallop pieces on the side that is not lined with packing tape. Place a pop up dot on the center back of the Pretties flower and attach one of the scallops to the center.

With the 1" circle punch, punch out the picture and adhere packing tape over the picture. Trim to about 1/4" from the edge -- this will protect the ink of the picture from smearing.

On the back of flower, attach the magnet with 3 to 4 mini glue dots.

Turn the flower over and attach the second scallop to the front center. Fold over the 1/4" of excess tape from picture and secure it to the back. With Crystal Effects, smear a few drops on the flat side of the glass stone.

Attach the picture to the flower center with mini glue dots. Use the straight edge of a scrap piece of photo paper and spread the Chrystal Effects over the glass stone evenly, taking off the excess.

Place the glass stone over the photo and press firmly, making sure to remove all bubbles. And that's it!
